Free Walk Dog Raincoats
We call these raincoats the 'Free Walk' as they are a little cape of protection which allows free walking without any restriction at either end! Easy to chuck on for a quick exit to walk in the rain.
The Free Walk differs from the Super Raincoats mainly because they do not have the chest panel. Some customers did not like this idea. The fabric is slightly different too. The Free Walk has an opening beneath the hood on the back for leash attachment. The Super Raincoat has a flap that opens on the back suitable for harnesses and leashes. You can attach a leash to a harness at the front when wearing the Free Walk coat but not with the Super Raincoat. You can wear a harness over the top of either coat. We made both styes in accordance with our customers requests
Free Walk Raincoat Colours
New Stock of Small, Medium, Large and XL now has a 2 strap system fastening.
The 2 straps cross over under the tummy, and fasten easily on the top. The cross over under the tummy gives cover from behind the front legs to the back legs, leaving room for toileting

Lightweight mesh lining helps the coat from slipping on the back
Cut for comfort to allow free movement, no restricting legs or tummy cutting straps
Harness can be worn over the coat or attached at front
Leash hole at neck for leash attachment
Hood adjusts at neck to keep coat in place, this stops it falling down the back, and keeps room at the front for walking and chest. Also stops small sized dogs getting their legs stuck in hood. Adjusts at front to keep hood over earsl.
Greyhound, Whippet and Newfoundland 2XL coats have a single velcro belt as we found this works better with these body shapes.

I love the raincoat, it's so easy to put on and take off. Our dog doesn't mind wearing it and it has been super handy with all the rain we've been having. Small size was perfect for a Westie.
Received by 2nd Surf Dog raincoat for my girl Golden Retriever. The coat is truly amazing, has a modification that has straps that go under the back legs which make the coat much more wearable. These raincoats are perfect. I already own 2 for my other dogs and decided to buy one for my whippet puppy to grow into. It is a little bit big on her but she looks so cute in it.
It was time for a rain coat update and after searching lots of Whippet specific rain coats I came across Surf Dog. I was a little hesitant as it was one size fits all, but happy to say it is a perfect fit for my girl. It will be ideal for summer rain as it is light and will also fit over a jumper in winter. Did I mention it was also at least half the price of all the others I looked at!
Thanks so much! Yes! I am the lady that runs around parks to find dogs of all breeds to shape my products😂 we have 6 sizes for 'normal' dogs but needed to do special shaping on our Greyhound, Whippet and Newfoundland sized coats. So great yo hear you love! Please share with other Whippet owners❤️
Between amazing customer service and a quality product. I cannot fault this coat. It also manages to fit a great dane which seems to be awfully uncommon with most brands.
